Karting circuit at Goodwood

I was looking at Goodwood on Google Maps the other day and observed what looks to be a karting circuit on the infield adjacent to the paddock. Is this a recent addition, or something old which has now gone? I have no recollection of it previously.

karting was open at the last breakfast meeting but not advertised extensively (direction sign on burger van)

Yes there is a small kart track there, run by Mithral Racing for their Corporate fun days. Have raced there a few times - rather slow 4 strokes possibly of their own design.

yes I drove those about 10 years ago...

I see I have described them as 'rather slow' which makes them sound a lot better than they actually were.
