3d/architectural visualisation - london ?

I'm hoping to be moving into London this weekend, just wondering what the situation is at the moment in visualisation. It's an area that I'd like to try out, as I've come more from an animated 3d area (lighting being my speciality).
I'm guessing most things have ground to a hault...do I give up looking for any work in this field ?
