....pull up behind him on the A47 in your daily transport like I did this morning and flash/wave to compliment them on their car. I received a shrug as if to say what is the problem, but that was before I pulled alongside and Dave M realised it was me hehe

Dave, 2 points,
1. You really didn't smell very good when accelerating away from the Duddington roundabout. Dunno if it was oil or just running a bit rich....?
2. Is your bootlid stuck? It was sunny, 9 degrees and your roof was on!!

See you soon mate,
Longers

Or another way

Get a text message from your wife saying the next door neighbour has rung to say the garage has been broken into and the TVR (less than 1 week in my ownership) has gone. Which car have I taken to work?

Blind panic ensues and the bloody pressure rises........ Make phone call to wife who leads me on for 5 mins then starts laughing and asks me which day it is!!

Kippered hook line and sinker fell for it in a big way. Beware of SWMBO who is feeling a little neglegted after the arrival of a new toy! Of to sit in a corner and calm down whilst wondering how I managed to fall for it in such a big way!
