New shape M3 coupe v saloon prices ??

Hi

New to this bmw thing (sneaked across from the Porsche forum) so apologises for my ignorance

Thinking of buying a new shape M3 coupe

My observations suggest the prices for a saloon new from franchised BMW dealerships are only about £5k more than the price of a used 1-year-old coupe (private sale)

Am I missing something or are coupes really that in demand??

BMW just released 20 or 30 delivery mileage saloons, all are retailing at about 40K. This has made some of the existing in-stock coupe pricing look a bit high at the moment...

Black 07 plate on ebay with 17k miles (with that red interior), one prev owner

Thoughts on value ? Will it start with a 3 ??

Does it have EDC, USB extended storage, Hi-Fi upgrade etc? If so around the 35k mark for a private sale I would guess?
