I watched a program about this on Sunday night, surely this can't be true?

Apparantly people who experience sexsomnia engage in sex while sleeping, though they have no memory of their actions once they wake up. The intensity of this sleep sex varies, with some sexsomnia victims merely moaning and groping, and others engaging in sexual activity either with themselves or with another person in the bed. On the extreme end of the scale are those who become violent and dangerous while performing sexual acts.

Is this for real?

I may or may not have woken myself up wking before. Which was both nice and annoying, as it was 4.30 in the morning. Apparently.

More than once I have woken up half way through the deed and find I'm giving a better than average performance. I've never let on that I was asleep to start with though.
