I've seen this car on autotrader...the 53 plate one in carbon black:

http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/26002/ap-sh...

In the text, the dealer says it's the facelifted one, and based on it being a 53 plate it should be.

However...looking closely at the photo of the back of the car, whilst it has LED lights, it doesn't seem to have the revised lip over the boot handle...any ideas why this might be?

Probably a late registered pre-facelift model with retrofit LED lights.

If you see the car, check the build date under the bonnet, also the air con panel is different post-facelift.

Facelift or not, seems like a good price for the car if the condition and history are up to grade?

Also I note it has the part alacantra - ultra rare and way preferable based on my E36 experience

(and NO, I dont work for them!)

And yet the silver grey 03 plate car is a facelift! smile

The alcantara is a nice option, but I find the blue and red dashes on it unappealing. If it was just plain grey then it would be so much nicer. Also, in that interior pic, the leather seat bolsters are knackered

It doesn't look like a facelift model to me, the rear boot handle (for want of a better description isn't the larger facelift version).

Also the interior is freakin' awful, not having leather must seriously impact on the value of an M3.

Hmm

Depends, I think with electric side bolsters leather on the E46 is now ok , but leather on the E36 left you slipping all over ther place when you got in the twists
