Have you guys ever seen a track training day where you can drive a 996 GT3? I've seen lots of one day track based events around, like: drive five supercars for 500 pounds or similar. Would be convenient if it's based in the south east area. I've never driven or had training on a track so would be good to have the basics introduced. Would like to get a Porsche fix before I jump in the deep end later this year.

Roadrunner - haven't seen anything where you can even drive a standard 996. If you do see anything let me know! cheers!

I think Porsche themselves organize some official trackdays in Magny Cours for people who want to learn the basics of racing...I don't know if it's reserved to Porsche owners though.
Maybe you could give find some more information on Porsche.com

Doesn't look too great as you only get a few laps, but that must be up for negotiation!
