Bloody windy up north today, really had 4 seasons in one day with a bit of rain and snow chucked in, all in the space of a couple of hours.

Here are a few of the decent ones, most turned out gash smile

Thank you for your kind words! I can genuinely say, in the 12 months I have been taking photography seriously (on a hobbie level,) I have took 95% of my knowledge and inspiration from this forum.

Cheers!

It sure is a great place to learn, What little I have picked up since owning my dslr (Xmas pressie) has come from here. John if you ever feel like giving some thing back any pointers as to your PP technique would be warmly welcomed. Ian

They're all good but the second one is a little bit more special, good work.

Know what you mean about this forum, the diversity of skills, experience, style and subjects on here offers daily inspiration and opportunity to learn.

Lovely images, John. I really like the treatment.

One minor niggle, though. It may be deliberate, but I'd adjust the kerning between the 'R' and the 'V' to bring them a bit closer and balance the word 'IRVINE'. At the moment, the spacing almost makes it two separate words. Sorry, I do a bit of calligraphy as a hobby, and I tend to see that sort of thing...

Love the 3rd one. I think it is the rock detail in the foreground water that makes it stand out.

Agreed, they are very very good indeed. Number 2 is a lovely landscape but I really like number 1 with the blurred Landy.

Great work John, Ive followed your progress during your time on here and can only dream of making the same kind of progress - are you shouting every day?
Whats your ratio of good to bad photographs? Are all the above HDR? They look great.
