Cerbera Speed 12
Discussion
Does anyone know the format for 29th, 30th March and 1st April? I can't find any details at Brands on-line. Do they normally run each of the competitions on each of the days (ie will I get to see the Sp12 regardless of the day). If yes, is there normally a "best" day in a three day format.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
The main day of racing will probably be on the Monday. A full schedule is normally released about a fortnight beforehand.
I suspect the qualifying will occur on the Saturday rather than on Easter Sunday. That can be fun as there are fewer spectators around so when wandering around the paddock you get more of a chance to chat to the teams than on race day.

10:40 for the GT's ?!
The retards that run motorsport have got no idea - they squeeze the BTCC crap-racing on to the glamour-slots, not appreciating that they could widen their total punter audience by attracting them to the dark-side of loud 'n proud GT's, a much bigger spectacle, instead of some wheezing pi$$y astra's trickling round
Idiots

Have you compared the lap times of the two types? Touring cars are as quick as the GTs in general. Not that I am arguing against you, I prefer the GTs anyday.
AArgh! If that's right, that the World Sports Car etc etc means the likes of the silk cut jags it makes the dilemma even worse - this meeting already clashes with the tuscans and the caterham roadsports at Castle Combe. I've been intending to go to the tuscans because (I miss them and)I'm not really bothered about the BTCC and the early grids for GTs last year were very thin, but silk cut jags as well...
Come and watch the Group-C cars. Most of the races are abroad this year so there is not much chance to see them. Also, as for lap times, we will be lapping far faster than both the touring cars and the GT's. I will be in the GTP Nissan, hopefully near the front!? Be good to get lots of spectator support.
