This can't be right!, at the time of writing I know I'm on the wrong end of a six pack but 75k (GBP) for a 4 year old car when for 18 grand less you can have one with 350 miles on it on a 2008 plate

Can somebody tell me what I'm missing ? (please dont say 'Brain' as the wife has used that one already)

I'm not even sure it really is for sale - it's been in the classifieds at least twice in the last year or so. If anyone wants to spend £75k, they can have mine and I'll throw in a free car wash kit!

If it is truly built to TUV standard then it will have cost a fortune to build.
TUV looks at the WHOLE build process and componentry.
The TUV testing is an arm and a leg alone.

I had a test drive in this car, finally suck me in this madness here. There is a huge difference between a standard SBC build and this one. The 50-60k figures are for a basic car using a cheaper LS engine and stock Ultima parts. On this car very little is stock and this is expensive as some of you sure know.
I would say that this car has an exceptional performance and if you just want to drive it and have no joy in building I would say the 75k are a well priced figure. My personal impression is that not many here are really honest on the built cost, me personally I am looking now at 70k EURO (LS7) in ordered parts and have not even started yet. And I would say that I am not too bad in sourcing things for a good price (paid 1500 EURO for my G50/03 with LSD) and I got my engine for a very good price.
So if you go for internal leather trim and other stuff that you have others ot pay for you can really end very quickly at 100k which I am sure have some of the cars cost here.

Anywhere near Baden-Baden? I'm going there for a week next week. Some Track Test Facility. Anything to do around there?

Would that be the LUK track at the Baden Airpark?
