Guys,

I need some locking wheel nuts for my S3c which has the OZ alloys - any ideas on what I need and the best place to get them from?

Cheers

ebay is your friend... look for "Ford Alloy" locking nuts... they come with a captive tapered washer thats a snug fit for your alloys. like so:

I would also buy the Ford alloy "normal" nuts as well as they have a stainless bright finish to them and look much better than the old rusty ones I had. They also have the captive washer to spread the tightening load.

like so...

K wink

McGard Locking Wheel Nuts
p/n 24157 (19mm/M12x1.5)

from Halfords, but probably cheaper on eBAY.

M12 x 1.5 mm is the right size, so they'll fit.

Can't speak for the quality though!

Personally, having seen for myself that locking wheel nuts can be removed as easily as ordinary ones, after I lost my "key", I wouldn't bother - The only person to be inconvenienced by having to look for the key is you yourself! I've used the Ford nuts with captive collars in the link above, and they are better quality than the flaky chrome rubbish.
