Cruella deville's Car?
Discussion
I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about it. I know it's a Panther Deville, but is it a replica or something (I'm sue when i was at Disney years ago the guy said it was built especially for the film). What type of engine does it have?
Also, d0es anyone know where it is now?
Thanks
By the way, this is the car I'm speaking about encase anyone wasn't sure.

The Panther De Ville is an exclusive luxury model from the British specialty maker, Panther Westwinds. Starting in 1974, the De Ville, being even more flamboyant a model, was positioned above the J72 as the company's top model. Sitting on a giant 142-inch (3,606.8 mm) wheelbase, the tubular-framed De Ville used Jaguar XJ12 mechanicals including Jaguar six and 12-cylinder engines, and was produced in extremely limited numbers. With its flowing wing lines, and big headlights, the vehicle was styled to ape the 1930 Bugatti Royale. Underneath the body, there was Jaguar suspension, power steering and an automatic transmission, making it an easy car to drive and fairly brisk. However, poor aerodynamics had a tendency to keep the top speeds low. The interiors of these vehicles were often lavish, and outfitted with TV sets and drinking bars. Both fixed-top and rarer convertible versions were built. Pricing was set at a lofty £100,000, limiting the market to celebrities like Elton John. A DeVille was used in Disney's 102 Dalmatians as Cruella DeVil's car.
Production of the De Ville ended in 1985 with roughly 60 produced, including two-door convertible and one pink and gold six-door limousine.
Engines:
* 4.2 L (4235 cc) Jaguar I6
* 5.3 L (5343 cc) Jaguar V12

Ok thanks. I was wondering if that was a real panther deville or a replica or an altered one for the film because I've never really seen a coupe before. Also I read somewhere that it(the one from the film) has a chevy V8 engine and I was wondering if that war true?Wiki said:

Oliver Reed had one, I could imagine they swapped the engine for a Chevy v8 before filming, if there was a problem with the Jag engine. It is no doubt cheaper in the US to fit a crate chevy engine than get a jag engine rebuilt.
You can see the ex-Oliver Reed car here

Ok thanks. Just out of interest were Panther Deville coupes quite rare, as the one from the film is the only one I've seen, all the rest have 4 doors?You can see the ex-Oliver Reed car here

Oh and does anyone know where the car from the film is now?
Thanks
Randomly watching this film now.
The car is on a stand at Disneyland Paris. It's positioned to be seen by people queuing for the back lot team tour.
