Its done over 100k and the missus has had it since new. Never ever let her down.
But its showing signs of age, blue smoke on start up and "Mayo" on the dip stick. Using oil as well even though it pulls like a train. Shes about to be given a company car and we're wondering if its worth spending money on getting it fixed or should we just bang it through an auction.
Anybody got any ideas on the what the "Mayo" could be down to.

Cheers

If the car has been services using semi-syth rather than syth oil, that ciukd be a factor - this tends to cause oil sludging - it might be an idea to have the sump dropped and cleaned.
