Just received my car cover from Classic Additions, to suit my S2. I got the lightweight waterproof cover which has some air vents to allow air circulation. The cover fits well, and has a single securing strap under the centre of the car. The material is a bit strange, and not the softest, so I am wondering if I need to put a cotton cover under the waterproof one to prevent any paint scuffs ?

Anyone else got this cover ?

Also, I have since found the same cover new on e-bay for half the price Guess I should have checked first.

is this the £75 cover? Was planning to order this (with parking permit window!) as the car is sometimes spending nights on the street in the City and not in an underground parking lot where it normally goes to bed.

Was looking at the Classicadditions one and the Covercraft one. ClassicAdditions seems much better value though, as long as the car is clean I think you won't need another layer underneath the fabric.

Yes, the cover was £75 + p+p + vat so not much change from £100. Delivery was very quick. I did not get the permit kit or security cable.
I looked at the cover review in this months Practical Classics mag, and although this one was not mentioned, it, 2 from Classic additions were, and both got good write ups.

Sure is better that the sheet of polythene I was using previously.

As it rained on us yesterday at the Herts/Beds meet, I towel dried the car first before covering.
