That yellow thing in the sky made an appearence today - Hope every body was out enjoying their cars.

Had a blat up to Flamborough, whilst having a cuppa several people had a look round the S asked about it and complimented me on it smile

Apart from a Cobra and a Morgan near Brid didn't see much else.
Hundreds of bikers out though.

On with the rugby now - come on England!

Beedn all over Dartmoor and got a burnt bald head. Even persuaed SWMBO to go for an ice cream at Cadover Bridge and wished I hadn't bothered. She did the closed eye thingy ranting "this hurts my shoulder and back", "slow down", "I hate this" blabla - sometimes I wonder why I bother - should have just taken the kids but I'd have got argue for that too. Can't win.

However forgot camera so missed glorious photo opportunity above Burrator Reservoir. Saw lots of Bikes and soft tops of all varieties but no other TIVs.

Yep. Did an early morning run in my S, along with my brother in his Tamora drivingsmile

Lots of enthusiastic driving, and no overheating issues party

Ohhhhhh Yes. :woohoo

Couldn't resist the temptation and what a great day. Blasted down to Calshot Spit near Southampton then back alng the coast and thru the New Forest.

Days like this are what the cars made for and to think for a very brief moment of insanity I put it up for sale here on PH last weekend. What was I thinking. silly

Went to the WWM meeting today, many great cars. Only saw one S, but it was an immaculate V8S in green.

yes

Had a fantastic trip out early this afternoon. Bit of a late one last night otherwise I'd have gone round to the Herts & beds TVRCC meet. Good fun nonetheless. Finalised the route for the PH North London meet.

Went out for a newspaper this morning via Essex, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. Didn't see any other TVRs. DID see lots of horseriders, joggers, cyclists, old people driving very slowly and speed restriction signs. Got newspaper. Wished I still lived in Northumberland. Went home.

Had a brief hoon around the Northamptonshire countryside late this afternoon - far too many other cars out on the road for my liking, if it's like this next weekend I'm going to get up early and find some quiet roads !!!

Yes. The Dad taxi was out today. The no roof, noisy, 2 seater one.
Although the "pick up" was only 10 miles away it took a a while ~ The very scenic route was taken (there and back).

Oh yes bounce but it was in my Saab convertible, which doesn't count i guess. However i have made a decision, I'm selling the Saab and going to buy the wife a new Fiat 500 and a TVR S for me. 2 for the price of one, fed up of not having a toy so I'm going to plod around in a Picasso so i can enjoy my weekends.

My S1 broke down heading south on the A3 a few miles north of Guildford yesterday morning... classic signs of fuel starvation, managed to get to a lay-by. Recently had the petrol tank out to repair leaky seals for an MOT so was thinking perhaps something dislodged and stuck in fuel pump or filter as a result. Also the tank level sender Id managed to put back on upside down (empty when full/ 3/4 full when empty) and was running the tank down a bit to get access and fix it. What I hadnt realised was how successful Id been... what a tw@t nuts - I had to get my Mrs to bring me a can full of petrol. The humiliation of it redfacegetmecoat

Btw, while I was scratching my head figuring what it might be a green S blapped past in the fast lane!

Once topped up however all was back to normal and I had a great time with the roof down the long way round through Farnham/Godalming countryside! drivingwoohoo phoenix from the flames of user error!

Yes, but only briefly. Finally got the car completely back together yesterday. Fitted the anti-roll bar at 3pm and then went for a quick test run to the petrol station.
It felt so strange to drive after 4 months of a Ford Fiesta, but 'Oh Hell!' was it fun.

MOT in 2 weeks, need sometime to tweek beforehand.
