Though they've shot themselves in the foot a little, because you can only control it off the headphones. Lots of people use their shuffles in the car or with a stereo by plugging into the 3.5mm jack.

There's no way of controlling it on the body, which may limit sales...

Still, 4Gb in something that size is incredible...

I'm guessing Apple or a 3rd party manafacturer will release something to overcome this, but yes, it does seem a bit stupid, all it needs is the basic buttons like the old shuffle.

Prefer the previous model.

If I wanted 4gb I'd buy a "proper" (ie: full size) mp3 player.

How odd.

The nano is small enough to use as a shuffle anyway, and thats what I do.
