Thinking of getting myself a wheel to play Race Pro but don't really want to spend the £60-ish that the official MS wheels seems to cost.

Play.com has the Logitech DriveFX wheel for around £25 - anyone have any experience of it and how it compares with the official wheel?

Is the MS wheel worth the asking price?

(Not sure I should bother at all, TBH - I had a wheel for GT3 on the PS2 many moons ago and ended up going back to the hand controller after a while as I found it easier....)

Actually, thinking about it, wireless capability isn't too important given where it will sit so any comments on 360 wheels, wired or not, are welcome smile

I don't have any experience of any other form of 360 wheel, but IMO the MS wheel is worth it!

Even though it isn't really wireless as you have to have it plugged into the wall for the FF to work..

It should have been called a "semi wireless wheel"! biggrin

Another thumbs up for the MS wheel here. Actually seems better with Race Pro than Forza but it is good with either.

Another one for the MS wheel. The otehr's don't seem to have been fully licensed by MS - so they don't have proper force feedback (you'll see they talk of an advanced rumble feature) - shame, and a little unfair, but it means the MS wheel is streets ahead from the their party ones.

I have the old Logitech one that worked on the PS2, and also the PC, it is better than this (which I also found good and featured FF) IMHO

£70 on the high street by the looks of things

Fanatech are releasing a proper multi platform wheel soon, it will be useable on PS3, 360, PC. I have the 911 Turbo wheel and it is pretty darn good, with the cluubsport pedals it will be the best around.

If your gonna do it, do it properly, you will get more out of it in the long run.

Aaah interesting.
I've not heard of anyone on here that had one (yet!) on here.
What's it like?
I have a G25 for the PC... can't decide if I want the Turbo wheel as well! :hehe@
