How do P&P,

Looks like I've got to step into the breech and video my brother's wedding next weekend, and I need a camera. I'm quite into my digital SLR work and have got a tripod, so I'm looking for recommendations for something reasonable, that I could perhaps use later on in the year to do some motor sport filming, and perhaps on a trip I am planning to Japan.

My budget is around £250 - £300, so I know I'm not going to get a HD ready camera...

Over to you?

P.S. I've used Sony DV cameras in the past, but would like to get way from tape, as I'll be transferring into iDVD.

Cheers,

SVX.

Was waiting for the predictable reference to homemade grot movies... But in all seriousness - can someone recommend something half decent for the budget?
