At a wild and speculative guess was it a test drive which the car didn't return from and that they didn't get all the right copy docs before handing over the keys?

Probably the case, i know that the people who took the vehicle have no documentation at all. I have the chassis number available as well should anyone in the trade get offered a similar car.

I hate to be pessimistic but a car like that will already be in metal crate on its way abroad to fulfil an order.
