Logarithmic scales - I need some help....!!!
Discussion
I'm looking for a PH mathematician buff who can help me define a logarithmic scale for a range of numbers along two sliders.
For example:

The range can be between 1.00 and 10,000.00, and results between 1 and 10 must be defined by a scale of one decimal point at intervals of 0.1.
When the range is >10 - 100, the range is defined by a scale of 1, and then of course we need the logarithmic scale between >100 and 10,000.
The first part is quite straight forward, but is there a mathematical formula to define all this or just the last part of the range? (>100-10,000).
Cheers,
BB
