I live in London SW19, and have been unable to get onto the internet for over a week until last night when the response times were woeful. Anyone else had problems, I am fairly certain it was not at my end.

Just checking to before I vent my spleen with them.

Good luck with calling. Last time I rang Virgin Media to report that my broadband connection was down, I got a recorded message directing me to online help. rolleyes

No, I called them last week and got the call centre who suggested that I reboot everything, no joy. Called back and they then admitted there there was a problem in the area and it would be fixed within 48hrs. I then was abroad on business until yesterday.

Just wanted a bit more ammo before calling them.

Have you checked all your connections? Have you looked in the street to see if the cable has been cut/damaged. Has someone driven into the green box on the street corner?
