Seeing that cars like the Dodge Daytona and the Superbirds with proper matching numbers fetch around $300,000 in the US these days, $250,000 isn't a lot for a unique piece of Corvette history. Someone like Mike Yeager of Mid America will buy this for his collection (to go along with the two proto LT5's we built for him)!!
$300,000 for a Daytona or a Superbee? Only really stupid or rich people would pay this sort of money.
$250,000 for a ZR-1 is stupid as was the $640,000 paid recently for a 1967 low mileage L-88.
What is the point of buying a car like this so it can become a museum piece?
