Although it says UK I bet they're just American cards he buys over there as I've had American codes from ebay in the past which work just fine.

There are a few sites out there doing these deals, just make sure you watch the price as a few quote £29, then infact when you go to check out its $44 which with the current exchange rate is a little more

Yes as you need the heat at the GPU to be ~200'C for teh solder balls to start liquidising.

When "recommending" the towel trick, it is suggested that the Xbox is wrapped in a towel and turned on for no more than an hour...in a normal enviroment.
Nothing about Airing cupboards or extended periods of time.
Xbox + Towels + switched on + Airing cupboard + "hours = House fire

Just got mine back in a week after sending it away. Got 1 month Xbox live code too.
