Did I read somewhere that the Herts & Beds region will be visiting Mid-Essex for their December meeting? If so, is it still happening?

I have friends in both regions and would like to get everyone together....aaaahhhhhh...

Would be good...! Be nice to have a big turn out at the Forresters over the Christmas period... and don't forget, they do a great roast dinner!

Sounds like a good idea? How about spreading the word to other local regions? We could have a mini xmas party. I know the numbers might make the catering difficult and we should speak to Pauline before doing anything but what do others think?

Sounds good to me. I'm pretty sure the rev-erend was up for this idea.

Griffy, I think the J26 meet could get quite fun .

On what date is the meet going to be?
I'm still 'wet behind the ears' re regional meets but I hear the Forrester is a top spot, so I'd like to join if I'm free.

Hi guys and girls.......

Have to be a little careful here...........
We have invited Herts and Beds to the December meet....Kent, London and Suffolk friendlies usually come.

At the October meet we had 73 cars and the Forresters fed 140 people!!!.... in two sittings.

Luckily, the weather was good and people were able to do two sittings as people were happy to be outside..

At this time of year I can't afford to have huge meetings because if it's raining everyone's inside and the restaurant, usually quite big enough, only seats 100.

I don't know.......the way it's going I'm going to be looking for a new venue.

Anyone know if the Albert Hall is available....

Anyway....it's FAR too early to be talking about the next meet....I've got the Chrissy Bash to do first....

Good point, we'll need a new venue for the next meet anyway... following the Christmas dinner...

Yes...we look forward to seeing Angus and all the peeps from Herts & Beds who will be warmly welcomed with some good old English carvery roast.

We usually meet up around 12.30 and for those interested Podie & Alf arrange a convoy from Chelmsford on the TVR Gen Gassing forum a week before the meet.

Course....we may be a little hung over from the dinner on the Friday, but I will endeavour to keep sober .....

Sees you all soon

Just you even go there Huggy.......

Can you even begin to imagine the reaction of the Forresters management if we had a Chrissy food fight....

I would just love to see Tim's face....

Now....behave......
