Just got back from a 10 day trip home (south tip of Holland, near the Belgium and German border) and took some photo's of my car on nice backroads there :

Also had a friend (amateur photographer) who wanted to have a picture of his 4 month old baby on my car :lol:
Managed to do the whole journey (Essex to Dover and from Dunquque (above calais) to my town in Holland), about 300 miles, on one tank of fuel as well. Quiet impressed with that.
Normally only get around 210 miles (13 mpg) out of a tank, but now got it up to around 18 MPG.

Spot on!Not sure where i've taken this exact photo's but i started in Klimmen and went via Vaals, valkenburg and Schin op Geul richting Maastricht.
Very impressed you managed to recognise it from those couple of pics. U from that area ?
Just got back from my yearly february trip home (South of Holland, near Belgian and German border) and instead of creating a thread i thought i just put my new photo's in this topic as the titel still covers the contence.

My mates 4 month old (now 16 months old) got a little bigger as well :
I stayed at my mum's flat, which shares the ground with the Grand Hotel, and she knows the manager and i was told i could park on their grounds, right by the door (which wasn't even a official space) but the manager told me to park there, so they could keep an eye on it as well, and i could see it from my mum's first floor lounge.
This was my normal view from the lounge of my car :
Though last monday i heard this almight bang, and all of a sudden my view had changed and i couldn't see my car anymore...
Also had to ring my mum who wasn't home at the time and tell her to come home, as we had an unexpected visitor, in the form of a massive crane on our/against our balcony!
The 2 window washers were at 27 meter (89 feet) high when the truck fell over (because they didn't place the big platforms underneath the trucks arms), luckily the fall got braken by the 6 balconies they hit, and they landed (in their basket) ontop of a smaller window washer vehicle which was doing the groundfloor levels.
The guy from the small one manged to jump out on time so he didn't get hit, and i cheked out both guys who were in the basket up high but fortunately they were fine as well, so no injuries, just a lot of damage.
In the end it took the fire brigade and 2 massive "mammoth cranes" over 10 hours to get the truck away from the building (which was hard as the extended arm was stuck on one of the balconies). Must admit it was quiet interesting to watch the whole operation, and we had first class seats as we could follow it all from the living room.
