My E36 3ltr coupe needs the following replaced after a minor accident;
Front o/side wing inner & outer
Front o/side headlight and indicator
Front panel and kidney grills
Front crossmember
Rear o/side light
A local bodyshop I know will do all the work + paint for £1500.

I have had the alignment sorted, which has confirmed that no chassis/suspension parts are bent or damaged.

Looking through various ads I should be able to pick up an E36 coupe (with M3 front bumper) for £500-1000. Is this the way forward or do I use a BMW specialist breaker (LK/BM Spares is quite local to me) to gather the parts I need?
If I were to buy a donor car, would there be issues fitting the brake-cooling ducts to a non-original M front bumper? Any other possible pitfalls of a donor?

Thanks for any info.

Are the bodyshop quoting you to use new bmw panels, if so could you not just buy the panels second hand? saves having to break a whole car.

No, the quote is using 2nd-hand panels. I haven't seen many, but I thought a used genuine M3 front bumper is going to be £200, which may or may not include lights/grills/rubbing strip. I also need a pair of fogs (only broke 1 but they were the projector type).
My thinking was that there's bound to be other small parts required which I'd then have to source, whereas with a donor it's all there. If I picked one up for £600-700 I could end up better off? Plus there'd be some parts I could sell.
