Can't seem to get it from my butchers, I get mine from the local farmers markets that pop up monthly down here on the south coast, Arundel, Chichester and the like.

In fact I made a Mutton stew this afternoon ...... memorable OH yes

My butcher does it, and IIRC it's cheaper than lamb. It's mighty tasty toolick

Are you anywhere near a halal butcher? These have mutton, and cheap too.

The closest butcher to me doesn't have mutton but does have goat.

A lot of what is sold as Lamb, especially in the off season, is actually Mutton.
