of an idiot. Had problems starting the Chimaera. Battery flat. So I put it on charge but as the chargers started to do its work I heard a relay going crazy. So I whipped out the relays and removed them, remembering of course to take a picture of which one went where. Only the picture didn't save so now I have a bunch of relays and a car that will turn over but not catch. Anyone know which relay goes where? Especially the three off the fuseboard, I have two silver ones on their own connectors and then a third blue connector with nothin in it.

Help please, I can't bear the idea of it going on another flat back truck.

Sounds as if you have already found the two metal cased relays on flying leads by the ECU, these are the only special ones. The others are all likely to be generic single pole changeover relays and will be interchangeable.

Given that you had the clattering relay problem before you took things apart, I'd be inclined to suspect that you had and still have some other fault - an alarm / immobiliser that needs resetting would be my first guess.

OK, so a little more info. I've taken the following photos. The first shows the relays as they are, and the second shows the two relays I have left over. If I place the black on in the top right then my ignition/dash lights stay constantly on.

I realise I probably need to get new relays for the two not in the board (any clues where to get these) and once received I can stick them in the right places (wonce I know where that is).

All help very much appreciated.

Don't know how much this will help as mine is a '92 Griffith but the fuseboard looks the same

If the 3 red relays on the left, bottom right is the fuel pump (written on) which you have missing.

That does indeed help. Will work out where to order new relays and then give it a try.

Many thanks.

Hi Dont know if this helps but the yellow relay is for the curtsey light delay and fits on the lower half of the fuse board and is a standard ford part.
