Can anyone reccomend a TVR friendly MOT garage in Essex, preferably Chelmsford area?

Station Garage in Rayleigh do mine every now and then, they let me do all the button/pedal pushing so they never actually touched it, bonus in my view, friendly and cheap too.

I live in Chelmsford took mine to Dovercourt Ford on Widford Ind Est really nice bunch chatted to the bloke b4 the test as he was really interested in TVRs passed no problem not one thing mentioned!still exactly as id expect.

I agree 100% with Plunkett- Dovercourt Ford is an excellent place for an MOT. It is actually Rapid Fit in Chelmsford who do the MOT's, but it is attached to the main dealer. The top MOT man there is Brian. He has done my car (s) for the last 3/4 years- never failed, and he always takes care to point out anything which looks like it might need attention in the coming year.

As a back up I have laso used Paul Bailey Car Sales in Bicknacre, which are also a good place (the afore mentioned Brian used to work there before Rapid Fit, but their new guy is good too)
