I have a momo fighter, which I would like to fit to my chimaera. Is the boss I need just a standard vauxhall one or tvr specific. Unfortunatly the wheel does not fit onto the boss which is on the standard wheel...

Do you also know that you can fit the fighter without the centre boss cover plate and Momo horn button and use the TVR Horn button to make it look a bit more original?

I have it fitted to my Griff like that.
You will need take a very small sliver of plastic off the wings that hold the horn button in place, and do a mod to how the horn wire connects, but thats just got to earth to the steering wheel and its a very minor tweak.

Should have mentioned the boss to attach to the column is a Momo item for a Vauxhall column, so if thats what you ordered you should be laughing.

I think the horn pushes are different sizes but.... the decal for the horn push might be the same size (they were on the trek R) heat it up with a hair drier, pick it off and fix it over the momo push. Saves buying a new one.

This is what it looked like on my car before I started fiddling

This is what it looks like now sans centre boss, stripped and polished and fitted with original TVR horn button.

How did you polish it, ive got one and have been thinking along the same lines, but stuggling to think of how to do it without wrecking the leather edge of the trim
