EBC Brake Pads

I fitted my EBC Green Stuff V4 pads to the rear discs of my C5 on Saturday and I'm already impressed with them. The garage fitted my Red Stuff V2 pads to the fronts when they replaced the brake discs in September. In both cases I got an immediate improvement in brake feel with the pedal firming up appreciably each time. I didn't think that simply changing the pads would make any difference at all.

Anyway there is no increase in noise over the OE pads, the feel is better, there are no problems slowing the car when the brakes are cold, and there is MUCH LESS brake dust on the wheels. The Red Stuff pads also tone in perfectly with the red-painted Z06 style calipers I have too.

Haven't tried them on track for a fade test yet, will have to wait until next year for that now !

I was using the green pads in my ZR1 before I upgraded to Brembos - there was a definate improvement there as well.

Used to use them on my bikes as well ;-)
