MMM do I Dont I
Discussion
MMM I've got half an opportunity to come Tuscan racing next year, instead of Tasmins...
It a long shot and means leaving 2.5 years of development and 1.5 race cars in the garage collecting dust.
We'd be running on 2nd hand tyres and working from the back of the trailer up against proper Teams..
So should we give it a go or will we struggle too much...
thoughts ?

Do u have a sponsor ?
Or have come into money...or feel like spending what u already have ?
Ask griff2be how much it costs...and/or see thread Tuscan prices.
And then if u still feel able...then I'm sure u will have the full backing of all the TVR PH'ers and/or the TVRCC.
Good luck.

Graham, that's a huge question to ask !!! How well are you doing in Tasmins? used to running at the front or happy to tag along at the back? In Tuscan's you can do okay on a budget (despite all this you need new tyres every race you hear), look at Darren Dowling and Rob Urquhart, both had/have shoe string budget but got top five places in the championship and Rob got rookie of the year in 2002. All the teams are a friendly bunch so help is always on hand however....... be prepared to struggle and run in the middle or lower order, if you're happy to do that then go for it !! or you could end up spending much more than you wanted to or get fecked off with things and not enjoy yourself

I think you will be in good company, as I doubt you will be up against "Big" teams, most of the competitors next season will be like yourself, running on a limited budget. Go for it, talk to Wayne Phelan, no:5, he might have space in his awning, and they have the experience on set ups, which is by far the most difficult aspect of Tuscan racing, apart from the driving. mind you, it will test you, and if you master it, there is no car out there that you won't be able to deal with
