All I'll say is that a cheap repair to just the outriggers may not be cost effective in the long run if you intend to keep the car. Those that have done the the work themselves do tend to find more than just the outriggers that need doing and by doing a full body lift you can see the state of the whole chassis.

Totally agree with the above. I'm 3/4 way through outrigger repairs which only looked a small job from underneath. Now found some corrosion at the back after giving the chassis a severe seeing to with a wire brush. Even if you can't weld yourself I would recommend taking the body off and doing the cleaning up yourself so you no the full extent of the problems. See my thread "Another body off" I started at Christmas. Good Luck. Andy wink
Just had my chassis sorted. Total body off, I would advise that you go down this route once the body was off more corrosion was found. The cost was 3500 pounds inc VAT. This included the engine being cleaned up and all bolts etc replaced. Shop around the current economic climate would suggest that people want the work so that puts you in a better bargaining position. I also had the engine sorted with a new clutch and engine mounts.
