Through a combination of stupidity, tiredness & a powercut which robbed me of the ability to see(!) I managed to bend my 12-24 Nikor last night........ wouldn't be a major problem if I wasn't due to fly to Barcelona for a shoot imminently - a Fixation repair special otherwise.

So I've come begging to the PH camera crew to see if anyone has a Nikon AF mount wide angle zoom with 77mm filter thread which I could borrow for a couple of days in exchange for; well, whatever you want really - wine, beer, whisky, free photoshoot! smile I'm in Essex 10mins from Dartford Bridge so can drive anywhere not too far away.

Yeah thats where I may end up - expensive & unfortunately both Calumet & Fixation mean a trip into Central London in the middle of the day which I dont really have time for frown I'd rather send a nice bottle of plonk a PHer's way if they have a lense they can manage without for a couple of days.

You're welcome to my Sigma 10-20, but I'm not sure how I'd get it to you - presumably CivicMan is a bit closer to your neck of the woods.

Haha not really Ben, but hopefully the wonders of the Royal Mail special delivery will do the trick. Many thanks to CivicMan!!

Will a DX lens do? You can borrow my Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8 (near Colchester) but if you prang it I want a new one!

Damn - I was in Chingford today, too, otherwise Stanmore tomorrow. You could have a 17-35mm off me for a few days - let us know, by PM if needed.

Many thanks for the offers guys, but ideally I needed something a bit wider (rigshots!)... luckily Mr Civicman has kindly popped his 10-20 in the post for me to borrow. TBH I'm interested to see how it holds up compared to my 12-24!!
