Hello all

I am just after a bit of advice on behalf of my dad.

He has a 2003 black R32, 30k and in unmarked condition and he is wanting to sell. Being 65 he has no idea if it will sell and how much he will realistically get for it. I have looked at advertised prices on PH and AT website and can gain the average asking price - but I wondered if anyone has actually sold recently and the sort of interest level/price gained etc.

Any advice greatly received

Thanks in advance

Matt

I'd ask for £10k, maybe start at £11k given the mileage. Looking at the ones in classified marked as "sold" anyway.

i think you could expect to sell for 9.5-10k, assuming it doesn't need tyres, service etc.

thanks guys - think he was hoping for 10. just serviced and needs nothing so worth a punt at 10.5. its like new inside and out so i guess if he prices it well then it will go.

thanks again

Why don't you ask for a few trade bids and work up from there.

Spot on. My 53 plate 5dr with 49k and a few mods is up for £9.5k and someone has put a deposit down on it.

If the black R32 that you old boy is selling is really that mint try starting at £10500 and be prepared to knock it down by £500 if there's no interest after a week or so.

Given the low mileage, and the owners age(I would love to buy a car from a 65 year old enthusiast) I would start at 11-11.5k. I know its higher than people are saying above, but I for one would pay an extra grand for 20k less on a car.
