Tiv as in 'tiv', is just short for TVR. 'tiv' is just one syllable, which makes it easier to say in short form than TVR having 3 syllables. Not exactly rocket science wink

Has anyone else noticed, that when talking about your TVR, when you say them 3 letters, everyone says ahhh, trevor...many many have given me trevors full name, I dont have a bloody clue what it is, as the space in my brain for that stuff, is full of porn.

but everyone seems to know a lot about the trevor name...

I find the opposite,no one unless they are really into cars know anything at all about them, the avaerage guy on the street would be befuddled if the letters tvr were mentioned......... know what a crappy ford is though

Am I the only one who's had people confuse "TVR, Cerbera" with "Subaru" when they ask what I'm driving?

Apparently its "Full Acknowledgement of Broadcast". As in 'over and out'.
