Was speaking to Carl at Verdi and you can get these now sounds all very good.better start saving the pennys so i can get it done The F1 upgrade makes the gear change as good as the Stradale.

If i can get enough £££'s to do it it certainly will. will have to chat about where we meet on saturday Rich. Stay off the motorway on the way up it should be more fun!

probably shafts the warranty as well....
Caracalla did have a 420bhp car for sale a while back. Cost a considerable premium though so maybe I'll stick with 'only' 370bhp. Until I can run to a 550.....

Hope Rich does fettle the 360 though, I reckon it'll be a serious match for just about anything afterwards!

Verdi's can do formula warranty work so i have got no worries there. will just have to get the £££'s together. It will have to wait a bit as I need a new clutch before i do anything else

yeah true. I'm currently making do with 370bhp which is fine as my average speed over the past week has been about 25mph.

Foskers at brands hatch were the cheapest for clutches I found about a year ago.

Cheers Craig. Its the only problem with the F1 gearbox, clutches don't last as long as a manual and its an engine out job

9000. Which makes it about 13p a mile for clutch wear for every mile driven. hopefully the next one will last longer. And Carl can get the software on the ECU programed a bit better so it will not wear as much

Rich,,,considering your enthusiam for using the car at Bruntingthorpe that doesn't sound too bad compared to some F1 clutch lifes i have heard.

I know. I do like the gearbox. the car has also had 3 owners and different people drive differently. hopefully the new one will last longer. most of the wear on mine is probably getting the car in and out of the Garage as its quite a tight squeeze. All in all still happy with it though. Looking forward to the next Bruntingthorpe

50bhp from an ECU, thats a fair bit for an already highly tuned engine (non-turbo).

One of the few upgrades for the 360 I've seen was from Digitec a german tuning company offering a 40bhp upgrade which was ecu work plus an replacement exhaust system.

Does Carl's upgrade require a new exhaust or is it mainly the ECU and a few filters etc? Oh how many drinking vouchers does he require for such work?

New ECU plus TUBI exhaust. this is going to be the new ECU for the 04 cars I believe. cost around 5k with the TUBI's. the engine revs higher 9000 rpm as opposed to 8.5 and supposedly another 10-15 mph more top speed

OK, someone has to ask. How much does each of these upgrades cost?
