My girlfriend has some mold on her belts

Seriously though
She just bought a car and it had mold on the rear seat belts, having it steam cleaned today hasnt really got rid of any of it.
Does anyone know of some sort of cleaner to get rid of the nasty stains?

Pint of milk over the seats. Leave for 24 hours to dry. Good as new.

Multi purpose cleaner from any of the detailing type companies should sort it. The Elan used to do that if left for any length of time, I used Dettol multi surfance cleaner on it as it was anti bacterial but didnt damage anything

A good scrub over with any upholstery cleaner will remove it.

It's very common on cars that have been sat not being used this time of year.

Once you've used the upholstery cleaner to get the stains out, I suggest some glass wipes to get the footprints off the windows.

I have just been out there in the dark and under torch light to try and get rid of these mysterious stains. I tried 'cif' antibacterial to no avail and some '1001' carpet cleaner and no joy.
This stuff is really ground in and didnt even touch it.

I just thought of a better title anyway. I should have said

My girlfriends beetle has some bad stains what with it actually being a beetle. Cant believe i missed that one

no no no its just mold, black mold as well!
I can only assume the car has been steam cleaned in the past and the belts have not dried out properly.It wouldnt bother me but you know what women are like......

Use a toothbrush to scrub the carpet cleaner in

2) Not neat bleach!
3) Mould not mold
4) There is no 4)

Vinegar or diluted 1:10+ bleach, try a little first.

I,ll give it another go on the weekend, i just used the stiff brush thing on the end as didnt have a spare toothbrush.
