I am just getting so depressed with the uniformly grey, dull sky we've had hanging over us for what seems like forever. I've tried cutting out as much of the sky as I can, but even then, it seems to be washing everything else to grey as well.

What are you shooting at the moment? Where do you look for some sort of vibrancy at this time of year?

You could add a graduating filter. Its still grey (or whatever colour you choose) but at least it’s a different shade of grey. biggrin

You need a 'sun' filter, which adds warmth, saturation and shadows.

Unfortunately they haven't been invented yet frown

It's driving me nuts!

I've got a Sigma 10-20mm just begging to be put to use. I've got loads of time on my hands, as my role from last year didn't get carried into this year, and the company still hasn't found me a new role, and EVERYTHING IS GREY!! irked

Especially if you are after rabbits. Just need to get a new silencer for my gun so as not to disturb the neighbours. smile

I've been trying for night shots. Unfortunately I spent 2 hours looking for my 'favourite' bridge over the A10 last week (I usually mountain bike over it), just to get lost instead since I was on foot, and ended up in the local instead smile

I'm based down in Leuven, Belgium for the next 6 to 8 weeks, so I had a looky at the weather for local cities and plumped for Antwerp with Mrs Baz for valentines day on Saturday - great weather all day long (ok so a little cold but not grey that's for sure):-

Absolutely nothing. Haven't been near the camera for almost three months due to construction work at home and being away on business.

I must make an effort when I get home.
