Tracker query.

Hi All,
I'd be grateful for any positive comments and/or advice. When I bought my T350C in April 2006, I had a Tracker system fitted to it. The type of tracker I had fitted was one which did not have a lifetime subscription fee, the longest subscription was three years. This period is coming to an end, so I'm trying to weigh up my options. I contacted Tracker today to be told that my system is being "phased out," but they would be prepared to give a reasonable discount on a new tracker, which I could buy a lifetime subscription for. Now, in addition, I know that Carl Baker offers a Meta tracker, which offers the opportunity to track your P & J on the net and I believe, has the facility to remotely immobilise the vehicle if stolen. I would like to have both of these options plus the same features on my current tracker of radio tracking, GPS tracking and the confirmation chip which triggers the tracker even if the car is stolen using it's keys.
Has anyone had the Meta system fitted? Or has anybody got an alternative system fitted which has all the features I would like? If you could give me an idea of price, time taken to fit and any other useful info, then I would be grateful. I should point out that I have been very happy/impressed with Tracker. Thanks for any replies.

That grinds my gears - I doubt its difficult to keep the old system going and they are just 'forcing' you to give them more money!Not convinced by trackers anyway - crims know how to get round them.
