instant inflation
Discussion
How many of those cylinders are normally required to get a 26 in wheel up to 35-40psi? I had a puncture the other week, tried inflating the spare with my mate's pump but a seal had gone and it was only pumping in one direction. So I whipped out my can of air and pumped it up instantly. I've no pressure gauge but when I got the main pump on it, it had gone to 25psi - and there was plenty left in the can.
A mate of mine says that 2 are normally required, but that doesn't mention size.
Oh also, does anyone sell a version that has a re-sealable cap? They really are extremely handly little grenades of gas.

Size of tyre?
My 16oz CO2 canisters usually seat my 2.1 tubeless tyres to around 30psi and my 2.35 to about 23psi.
Do you mean a resealable cartridge or a valve connector that controls the flow? Personally, the size they are it's not worth trying to 'save' the gas. I dump the whole lot in the tyre then top up if required with my Crank Bros mini pump that has a pressure gauge on it. I wouldn't go riding with only CO2 canisters as my means of inflating a tyre.
