Trailing arm bushes

Antbody know what the trailing arm bushes are off, or are we limited to getting them from TVR carparts.

Pete I tried to source them without luck so I went to TVR car parts. One of the poly bush manufacturers I spoke to said they were on their future product list (thinking about making them) but they were not envisaged as being available in the near future. I think the originals are cut down from standard bushes but I couldn't find out from what? Sorry not much help. I think someone said Steve Heath Engineering used to sell them?

I went to TVRCarparts too. We do need to give the TVR parts sellers some support!

Hi, Pete, Chris at "Superflex" tells me they do not make this bush because the trailing arm housing dimensions are too inconsistent to establish a shell size for the bush. Didn't clarify wether length, diameter or both !

Thanks all for the help, Chris, I fully agree that we should support TVR suppliers and I will be doing when I buy the trailing arm of them, its just that the bushes do seem a little expensive and I was only trying to save a few bob. However it looks like I will have to get the bushes from them anyway.
Unfortunately TVR carparts havent got any in stock at the mo so I will have to wait until they get some more in.

Its a shame we cant get any poly bushes for them.

This thread refers to a company called autobush for rear bushes - never used them myself but may be an option

Hi,found a company who may be able to supply Metalastic bushes at a good price but as my car not stripped down can any one tell me the exact dimensions ? Yes, I know we should support TVR Specialists but this is my hard earnt money and anyway if I do save a bit on some boring rubber bushes that will leave more to spend with them on more exciting bits !
