Theres a vid that’s on mtv a lot right now “totally addicted to base” or something .. got two cuties in a mad-max type aussie muscle car police chase thingy. Don’t like the cars, but the birds are pretty cute. Got me thinking about what the best music videos featuring cars might be.

Here’s my top three.

At number three – ex eastenders bird…:
Martine McCutcheon – "On the Radio" – Silver Lotus Esprit V8-SE, with red leather interior. Crap song but the car is good.

Kylie – "Can’t get you out of my head" - De Tomaso Mangusta (subject of a recent thread on pistonheads!)

Jamiroquoi – "Cosmic Girl" – black ferrari 355, F40 and Lamborghini Diablo. I may be wrong, but someone told me that JK was actually banned from driving when this vid was shot, so he got the record company to ship his (yes!) three cars to location unknown/foreign where uk ban did not apply… shot the vid, two fingers up to uk authorities!!

Any other suggestions??

Totally agree with the Jay Kay/Cosmic girl vid.

It's not a music video,(and it's a bit old now) but the Miami Vice pilot film with the Ferrari Daytona (replica)and Phil Collins "In the air tonight" I always liked - the rest of the film's pants
