Following on from the "Dad at 13" thread.

What age where you when you first had sex? Looking back do you think this was right, or wrong? Would you have been able to deal with the resulting baby?

This is NOT a thread for lurid details! Anyone doing that will get the thread locked exceedingly quickly frown

I was old enough to know what a condom was for and not be embarrassed about buying them. Could I have handled the responsibility of fatherhood then? No way! Could I handle it now (aged 32)? Not sure...

I couldn't see a voting button for "I'm saving myself for Mrs Right".

I wonder how many PH people are facing the dilemma of having sgged off the young Karen Matthews-a-like for being a young slapper, only to find themselves now looking for macho points by saying they were shagging at 7?

Actually, thinking about it, does pleasuring yourself against the water jet in the local swimming pool count?

55 polled 73% over 16 I think people might actually be telling the truth here on PH P&P for once...

We'll see.

I waited until I was married at 24. Not that I hadn't had the opportunity, just didn't want to. I was with my GF/Wife from 17, and before that I was in no fit state mentally or financially, to father a child, and so didn't take the risk.

It was then another 2 years before our first was born, and I could just about cope with fatherhood then. If our second had come first, there would not have been a second!
