Ok well I'm afraid I'm considering selling my T350C to help fund my wedding! frown Ho Hum!

Just wondered where is best to advertise? PH? Or do you tend to get a load of PX offers?

Or how well to TVR's sell on Autotrader?

I know its obviously dependant on the price/condition/age etc.. But would like to try advertising in the best possible place!

Cheers

Big weddings are a huge waste of money

Regisrty office - sod off on a great honeymoon, then a party when you get back to stop all the moans about "I wish I could have been part of it"

Keep the T350! clap

If you do sell - do the PH, TVRCC, local TVR region thing - price it right!

I'd advertise through PH and TVRCC. That will attract less test pilots than autotrader.

I had mine on autotrader for 2 weeks and nothing. Ebay has flagged up loads of potential buyers but they all trying to buy cheap, pistonheads is the only way I think.

Don't discount Ebay - its cheap to advertise (£15 for a months advert) and there are a lot of buyers coming in from europe to buy good old fashioned English cars !!

Put it in the local Gazette with a bit of luck it wont be sold.

TVRs/large engined cars at the moment seem to take on average a long time to sell. It could cost quite a bit to advetise for lengthy time on Autotrader.;)

I 'autotrader' cruise all the time.

If you do not need to sell, don't - you will not get a decent price for it as there as so many people desperate to sell at the moment.

Prices have really dropped - I was originally looting for an Exige a year ago but there was basically nothing under £20k (bar a few very high milege).

Can now pick em up easily for about £16k.

At least wait until the weather picks up!

My advise would be to advertise it on PH for £750,000 NO OFFERS, AGENTS, TIME WASTERS OR TEST PILOTS and see how quickly it goes.

When your O/H asks you how the sale is coming along you can reply with a clear conscience "no takers darling, the market is very bad, we may have to keep it after all".

hehe

Sold my Griff via PH. 0 advertising cost and swamped with interest. Eventually sold to the first person who turned up in the doorstep with cash and paid the full amount without negotiating a penny off.
Don't believe all the doom and gloom, there are buyers out there but they are being very picky on condition.
