Someone else agrees, this time it's a team runner!

itv-f1.com said:

Patrick Head has accused the FIA of Ferrari bias and claims it cost Juan Pablo Montoya the title.

Although the Williams technical boss did not refer to an incident in particular, the Michelin tyre controversy is undoubtedly at the forefront of his mind.

Head also remains bitter over Montoya’s punishment at Indianapolis when he was given a drive-through penalty after running in Ferrari’s Rubens Barrichello. The punishment effectively ended the Colombian’s championship hopes.

He told Sport Bild: "The Scuderia Ferrari generated some situations that lead to the defeat of Juan Pablo.

"We came to the conclusion that Ferrari receives some help in certain circumstances.

Head was particularly critical of the governing body’s technical delegate Charlie Whiting who he feels has lost his authority.

“Even though I have a lot of respect for Charlie Whiting, who is the FIA delegate, it seems that he is no longer in control."

"Some things happened lately between Ferrari and the sporting authorities and that makes me believe that."

....and going public with such a theory will engender a change of tact from the FIA.

Here's another controversial idea for P.Head, E, Jordan, et al (for all of whom I have the utmost respect)....BUILD A BETTER BLO@DY CAR AND RACE!!!!!!

Barge boards

The plain fact is that if MS had punted someone off where JPM did it to RB then there would have been no stop and go.

Oh yes and we have the tyres....

I agree the others must always up their game but at the moment to a lot of observers (I'm not anti ferrari by any means) it looks like they have the FIA in their back pocket. Of course there will always be rules bent that is human nature but lets at least treat people in the same way.

D.

The FIA are in Ferrari's pocket, and everyone answers to Bernie.
He is definately behind the rise of Ferrari & MS breaking JMF title haul. They have the history, but fell by the wayside a bit, and Bernie though it was the best way to line his pockets.

I always remember Mclaren being disqualified for 0.5mm out of tolerance on the 'plank' when everyone else was just borderline (so the records go, if you believe them). Next we know ferrari are a full 5mm out of tolerance on the barge boards, and get disqualified. They appeal, an unsurprisingly get re-instated. Level playing field my ar5e!

Sorry rant over

News just in.... The Pope John Paul is, in fact, Catholic.

I'm sure it all sounds like sour grapes but everytime there's a borderline decision by the officialdom ferrari 9 times out of 10 come out on top. I refuse to accept that is just because ferrari are more concencious than all the other teams, there's just simple too much money at stake for that. I'm not anti-ferrari, just anti-bernie/fia.
