I got my M3 the same month as my Tuscan S the M3 has beem a real dog....electrical and engine / drive shaft problems...the Tuscan hasnt had a problem...this is probably not the norn but it has been my experience...

My Beemer was so well engineered it had to have a new engine due to the ceramic bore wearing away.Never had a TVR that did that!

Depends on what your selection criteria are doesn't it?!? Just like saying a Ford Galaxy is a better choice over say a 330i. Horses for courses.

BMWs are good cars in their way, so are TVRs. End of story. So a journo picked a TVR over a BMW? (I've not read the article) - well it was going to happen one day wasn't it?!?

There's enough criticism of TVRs on here from owners and they don't get flamed. The reason he get's flamed is that 'he' is a new user with only a few posts, making derogatory remarks with nothing to back them up. If he posted saying "Beemers don't leak like my 420SEAC does so therefore they are better", we might post a more reasoned reply. But he didn't.

Like what's already been said: TROLL. Spot it, deal with it, move on.
