Anybody else got this yet. Got mine from shopto yeaterdy.
Rattled through the 1st 3 chapters so far and I think it's outstanding. Probably the best acting I've seen in a game and without doubt the best graphics. Thankfully the gameplay holds up too with a lot more solid controls than the 1st game.
Can't wait to get home from work today and play more, been a long time since a game made me feel like that.

No you don't need to have played the first one. There are a few characters from it that are in this but it's a completely different story. Got mine yesterday as well.. Stunning game in every way some of the graphics are just jaw dropping.
Oh and the multilayer inst bad either.

Nathan Drake is descendant of Sir Francis Drake, brings hot blonde journalist (Elena) along to help document and fund his search for Drake's Fortune (also brings along leathery old friend Sully). Lots of shooting, jumping and climbing happens. Finds Drakes' treasure and it is cursed, turned bunch of Nazi's and Spaniards into zombie-like creatures. Nathan shoots these and ends up attaching main badguy to cursed treasure, treasure sinks to bottom of ocean. Game ends. That about sums it up.
Uncharted 2 has just been handed to me - now I just have to get through the afternoon of work! 
This weekend will be fun with N4S, Op Flashpoint and Uncharted 2! Now which to play? Decisions, decisions...
PS. I would advise playing the first one anyway as its such a good game. Maybe when there is a lull in new releases, plus its so cheap to buy now.

Just to add my opposing views 
I rented this and returned it a few hours later. It is very very pretty and the cut scenes are clever etc etc etc.
The most uninvolved game i have ever played, all you seem to do is push your charchter from one cut scene to the next without making any decisions for yourself. I would almost rather just watch a run through of the game!
