Guys, Please persue the e-mail below that I have sent regarding the 2004 Supercar Sunday.

Dear Mr Kenyon,

We are currently looking into the possibility of bringing a multi marque event back in 2004. This may include sports cars as well as super cars. The provisional date for this is currently 18th July.

Would this be an event which you would be interested in attending?

Kind Regards,

Siân Moore
Special Events.

Subject: Forthcoming Event in 2004 ???

Dear Sir / Madam,

Could please tell me if the Supercar Sunday Event that was held in 2002 will be held again in 2004.
I have heard this event is to go ahead in 2004.
Thankyou for your attention on this matter.
Kindest regards,
Mr JR Kenyon

Justin,

I'd be interested, as I've got friends up that way. A bit early to commit to though.

I went to the 2002 event and it was a blisteringly hot day - fantastic array of cars. Just perfect.... and then they didn't do it in 2003 Apparently because the person who had been organising it had left.

Still if a 2004 event is on the cards then great!!!

Look forward to hearing more...

I was fortunate enough to be invited to this for several years in the late '90s early 00's. A superb event, the highlight of which one year was the masterful inversion of an AC Cobra copy on the slight incline rising from the car park in front of the hall. Wonderful entertainment and a display of the sheer stupidity of the driver. Why they even managed to entice Damon Hil & Mika Hakkinen along to the last event I attended and I have the pictures to prove it.
...and the drive up there on the M40 - in convoy with a genuine Cobra and a natty yellow Miura

It's a superb event - where else (apart from a Pistonheads event) can you see a flock of Ultimas, a brace of EB110s, pantheons of Porsches and herds of Ferraris of all types (including F40 & F50). Not to mention ISOs, Lambos, Astons & Masers...
