I'm in two minds to give it a miss next year. The crowds in 2003 were just unbearable, that and the influx of beer-bellied, tatooed numpties with their teenage girfriends tottering 'round in high-heels, with ghostly white tummies oozing out like a string of sausages from between a size 6 FCUK T-shirt and skin-tight Asda jeans might just put me off! rich, sadly that was a very good description of the trash they let in now. what happened to respectable people wanting to enjoy some lovely cars at a super event? now ruined by numpties.

It's not just Goodwood, we went to Rockingham with flasher this summer and a bunch of boozed up knuckle draggers turned up throwing their weight around, one of them started beating his slapper up and swearing at the Police (who didn't appear to be very much in control). Why do these morons go to a car race?!!

Maybe a few free motorsport tickets are included in the average benifits package these days

Please don't be put off there is another way to enjoy the Festival of speed and it's Goodwood's best kept secret and that is to camp within the grounds! The way we do it is to go for the weekend ticket and book camping at the same time costs about £50 each, we take a leisurley drive up on the Friday, get there about 6 (get straight in as everyone is leaving) set up the tents and have a BBQ! Generally there are a few fires/parties etc going on. Up next morning, shower bacon butties then all of a 5min walk into the event, no 3 hour queues for us! Saturday night we generally go into towm for a bit of a shindig and head home Sunday afternoon after F1. The lack of grief and queues makes for a top weekend and the TVRs look good on the campsite!
